About the author

Hi, I’m Deiri Di.

I’m just a lady with an overactive imagination who really likes writing neurospicy stories about characters who go through experiences that are similar, but better (or so much worse), than some of the ones we experience here on Earth.

My MCs are givers, not takers—and an HEA is guaranteed in all my books… eventually.

Muwahahahaha!

When I’m not writing

A few of my constants.

Yoga is life, meditation is therapy, and a bird feeder right outside the window is the meaning to life, the universe, and everything.

I'm also quite bad at chicken math, to the annoyance of my husband and delight of my child.

On that note, if it isn't clear, I live in the countryside as one could put it. I spent most of my life in cities having all sorts of adventures with all sorts of wild people and then decided that to really put my time into writing, I needed to get away from all that and settle down in a forest.

So here I am, feeling both blessed that I get to devote my time to my work while also lightly grieving a past filled with adventures. I've traded following street performers into bars in Amsterdam for cooking food out of my own garden and feeding the birds.

I hope to infuse my writing with both that sense of wonder of the strange beauty found in the dark corners of an underground club as well as comfortable homeliness one finds when baking your own bread from scratch.

Life is odd and it takes us strange places. Might as well enjoy it.
